Recently we had reported that Amazon is all set to announce Kindle Tablet on September 28th and today we have Amazon Kindle Fire price and specs revealed. Amazon Kindle is 7 inch Android Tablet with a cut down version of Android and price tag of $199 Bloomberg reported.
Doesn’t have an embedded camera or a microphone. The device offers Wi-Fi connectivity, though not 3G access, and comes with a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, the company’s $79-a-year membership service that includes streaming video and free two-day shipping.
The Kindle Fire will have a 7-inch display and sell for $199, compared with $499 for Apple’s cheapest iPad, Amazon executives said. The device, a souped-up version of the Kindle electronic-book reader, will run on Google Inc.’s Android software, the Seattle-based company

Since last few months we are getting reports from Amazon cooking a Tablet under the shelves and purportedly having 7 inch screen with a chopped version of Android running famous Amazon services including Appstore, Movies, TV, Music and eBooks. Although the tablet wont support multitouch and advanced features for Android but the better part is that it is even less than half the price of iPad 2.
