Recently we reported you that Adobe has officially announced about the shutting down of any further development on Flash player for mobile devices. Now adobe has just released a new version for Android devices called Flash player 11.1 and is probably the last update for the software.

Critical vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe Flash Player 22.214.171.124 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris, and Adobe Flash Player 126.96.36.199 and earlier versions for Android. These vulnerabilities could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.
Adobe recommends users of Adobe Flash Player 188.8.131.52 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris update to Adobe Flash Player 184.108.40.206. Users of Adobe Flash Player 220.127.116.11 and earlier versions for Android should update to Adobe Flash Player 18.104.22.168 for Android. Users of Adobe AIR 3.0 for Windows, Macintosh, and Android should update to Adobe AIR 22.214.171.12480.
Adobe Flash Player 11.1 update brings many bugfixes, security as well as performance enhancements which was found in previous version. Moreover, Adobe will continue to provide support on bug fixes and security updates as well as main focus will be on HTML5 development which requires less processing powers.
