Acer Iconia Tab A500 Android Honeycomb 3.2 update Released – Slowly Rolling out

Good news for Acer Iconia A500 Android 3.2 update has been released and roll out has been started in various regions and will complete in few days. Although the update was expected last month and later reported coming early September but still its not too late. Simply check for System updates and it might be available for your region as well. Before the update process you have restore to the original stock firmware with unroot however keep in mind that you wont be able to root Android 3.2 at the moment.

Acer Iconia A500 was announced in February 2011 and launched in April 2011 is a 1 GHz Dual Core CPU, 1GB RAM 10.1″ Android Tablet with Android OS v3.0 (Honeycomb).We had been listening for Android v3.2 Honeycomb update for the Acer Iconia A500 which was promised for 25th August but it never showed, and we feel like Acer haven’t left us out in the cold instead going public on why the date slipped.
