A Better Way to Set Up Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts on iOS [How to Tutorial]

I am sure you are pretty much satisfied with your iPhone but you may not be having a good time with Google services such as  Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts as they are bit difficult or confusing to setup on iOS devices. The reason is not iOS but the default procedure that is normally used to configure the Google Services is rather more confusing as compared to other easy to setup methods. The other procedure which can be used to setup Google services with full iOS push features is by setting up a new account using Microsoft Exchange option rather than actuall Google Mail option. It will give you complete Gmail functionality along with calendars and contacts sync directly to your phone. Follow the step by step guide in order to step the Google services on your iOS device using this way better procedure.

Procedure

1-   Launch Settings app on your iOS device, Click on to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” option and Press “Add Account“.

2-   Now choose “Microsoft Exchange” as account type.

3-   Fill in the information similar to what i have mentioned below by leaving the “Domain” field empty. Keep description as “Gmail” (You can give any description). Finally Press the Next button.

4-   It will verify and ask to input the Server address. Fill in the address as i showed in picture.

5-   You can now setup your sync information for Gmail, Contacts and Calenders.

Thats it!!!! Enjoy a better experience of Gmail, Google Calender and Google Contacts services on your iOS device.
